This project stemmed from a real-life problem in my life where I was unable to find an application that fulfilled my needs for a communication group for motor vehicle enthusiasts.
Challenge #2
Since there isn't a social app that targets motor vehicle enthusiasts, I had to wonder where I could get inspiration from when this idea is not available in the market.
Brief
Based on a personal problem, I decided to create the concept for Crewhub, a community platform targeted at "Crews," similar to "SportsYou," a platform targeted towards sports teams. In this case study, I detail some of the challenges and thought processes regarding this concept, along with the final MVP design.

Research
This may be a personal problem I'm tackling, but I wonder if others in my area have had the same issue. Some questions I asked the users included: How do you currently communicate with your crew and send out organizational events to your team? Have you ever wanted to start a crew with your friends?
Findings #1
90% of crew leaders don't use any sort of communication app besides the phone's messaging system.
Findings #2
10 out of 10 users surveyed have expressed a desire to create or join a crew with friends but didn't know how to begin or where to start.
Solution
By gathering more feedback, I refined my MVP and expanded its features.
CrewHub is a communication platform for enthusiasts who want to manage, create, or join their own or other crews. In addition to providing a way to communicate with members and schedule events, the app will also include a ranked system that rewards the most active crews.
